it is best to avoid using triangles in rounded areas of a Mesh, because they tend to cause artifacts in your model (artifacts are protruding edges or other things that don't look realistic). Apparently, using quads is a much better alternative. Triangles should only be used on flat areas of your mesh if they cannot be avoided.
